Shipping Policy

At Little Ven, we ship to Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Packages are shipped from Denmark.

Shipping Times

Orders placed during business hours are typically dispatched the same working day or the next. Within Denmark, delivery usually takes 1–2 business days. Upon dispatch, you will receive tracking information so you can follow your mat’s journey to your doorstep.

Should any unexpected issues arise, you can contact us via the email link provided in your order confirmation. We will promptly investigate and resolve the problem.

If your mat arrives damaged, it’s important to note and report this to the shipping company at the time of delivery.

We use GLS for shipping within Denmark and EU. During the checkout, you can choose delivery to your home or your nearest parcel shop. Please note that our parcels weigh over 4kg.

What Are Little Ven Mats Made Of?

Little Ven mats are crafted from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) - a safer, non-toxic alternative to traditional materials like PVC and EVA. TPU is renowned for being eco-friendly, durable, and easy to clean, making it the perfect choice for families who prioritize safety and sustainability.

Here’s why TPU is better:

• Non-Toxic: Unlike PVC or EVA, TPU is free from harmful chemicals such as BPA, phthalates, formaldehyde, and heavy metals like lead, mercury, and cadmium.
• Odor-Free: Our mats have no unpleasant chemical smells and don’t require airing out before use, providing a safe and pleasant environment from the moment you unpack them.

What makes Little Ven different from other playmats?
Our mats are made from non-toxic TPU with no PVC coating, and they’re extra thick - 15mm for added comfort and support. Designed in Denmark, they’re reversible, minimal, and made to blend beautifully into modern homes. Safe, soft, and stylish without compromise.

Why are Little Ven playmats expensive?
We use premium, non-toxic materials and craft each mat in one solid piece - a process that’s more complex and costly than stitched or puzzle mats. They're also thick and heavy (15mm), which makes them more expensive to import and ship.

But when you think about cost per use, it’s actually great value. Unlike a bouncer or bassinet that gets used for a few months, a playmat is used every single day for years. It's one of the most hardworking baby products in your home.

Can I use my Little Ven playmat for exercise or Pilates?
Yes! Our mats are thick, supportive, and soft enough for low-impact workouts like yoga, Pilates, or stretching. Just avoid wearing shoes on the mat to keep the surface in great condition.

My playmat has a pressure indent - how can I remove it?
Our thick memory foam is made to cushion and support, so it’s normal to see small pressure marks, especially when the mat is new. Knees, elbows, and little feet can leave temporary indents that usually fade with time. However, we recommend keeping heavy furniture off the mat, as it may cause deeper dents that don’t fully recover.

My Little Ven mat has indentations and isn’t completely flat after unboxing - is that normal?
Yes, completely normal! Our mats are made from thick, high-quality memory foam, which gives amazing softness and support...but also means it "remembers" how it was stored. Most indentations and curves flatten out within a few days, but in some cases, it may take up to 1-2 weeks. Just unroll it and let it settle naturally.

Do you offer swatches?
No, unfortunately we don’t offer swatches at this time. Feel free to email us or DM us on Instagram and we'll do our best to assist you into choosing the best color for you.

At Little Ven, we aim to show our products as true to color as possible. Please be aware that slight variations will occur due to lighting, photography, and individual screen displays. If exact color matching is essential for you, we kindly recommend considering this before placing your order.

Our play mats are made from thick, non-toxic polyurethane foam with a safe TPU coating - free from PVC, BPA, and other harmful chemicals. They've passed the strict EN 71 toy safety standards, making them one of the safest and most comfortable choices for your little one.

Due to the nature of TPU, lighter colors can become discolored over time from sunlight or contact with certain products. We’ve chosen TPU for its safety and have intentionally left it untreated prioritizing your child’s health over surface perfection.
